NZ Health Partnerships provides contract and vendor management on behalf of the six DHBs that have joined the Food Services Agreement (FSA). Our work includes monitoring of overall service against KPIs, overseeing the governance bodies and addressing contractual queries.
We are also responsible for progressing opportunities to improve any elements of the contract – including reviewing KPIs – to make them more indicative of the actual key service provision activities and to remove ambiguities.
Under the FSA, Compass Group NZ is contracted to provide patient meals, meals-on-wheels, cafeteria services, ward supplies and optional services to six DHBs: Auckland, Waitemata, Counties Manukau, Hauora Tairawhiti, Nelson Marlborough and Southern.
The FSA has been in place since December 2014 with the six participating DHBs going live through 2015/16 financial year.
All sites are fully operational and various initiatives are underway to improve service delivery.
